Maj. Robert Crowley was promoted to lieutenant colonel in a ceremony held at the Tennessee Army National Guard Armory in Bolivar, Tennessee. The ceremony was presided over by Tennessee's Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Warner Ross. Crowley has served in multiple capacities, including in the Navy and the Tennessee Army National Guard, where he has deployed to Iraq and supported domestic operations. He has also taught American and World History at Hardeman County Schools. In his speech, Crowley expressed his gratitude to the people who have supported him throughout his career and acknowledged that he would not be where he is today without their guidance and encouragement.
