NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia. – Pre-Commissioning Unit John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) hosted its change of command ceremony aboard the ship, Sept. 20, 2024. Capt. Colin P. Day, the second commanding officer of John F. Kennedy, was relieved by Capt. Douglas M. Langenberg.
