U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG-HI) partnered with local nonprofit 808CleanUps and community volunteers for a beach clean-up at Mokule‘ia Beach on Saturday, Sept. 7. The event, which focused on removing litter and debris from the coastal area, brought together military personnel, local residents, and environmental experts. The clean-up, sponsored by Patagonia, supported efforts to protect endangered species, reduce environmental threats, and preserve the natural beauty of the beach. The collaborative effort aligned with the Army’s commitment to maintaining environmental stewardship and military readiness.
