A Royal Australian Air Force P-8A Poseidon aircraft landed at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii on July 7 to take part in RIMPAC 24. The P-8A and her crew are from No. 11 Squadron based out of RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA. The P-8A conducted a submarine hunting sortie on Wednesday, July 10 from 0600-1130. Combined Force Air Component Commander (CFACC) and Commander Australian Contingent (COMASC) Air Commodore Louise desJardins met the crew on arrival.
