U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa Coordinated with Sister Services to Move Life-Saving Equipment Across Air, Land and Sea in Support of Emergency Services in Okinawa, Japan

U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa (USNHO) needs new ambulances that will take time to procure. To get an immediate win, personnel from USNHO found out the Army in Korea was replacing some of their fleet and was able to get those vehicles immediately forming a bridging gap solution. The 3D Marine Expeditionary Force stepped in with a transport ship and now there are three more ambulances in Okinawa to provide lifesaving care.
