Cooking under fire: 142 Quartermaster Platoon and HHT feed Soldiers during XCTC

At Fort Cavazos, Texas, the TN National Guard's 142 Quartermaster Platoon of the 230th Sustainment Brigade and the Headquarters, Headquarters Troop of the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment are providing critical field feeding services during the Exportable Combat Training Capabilities (XCTC) operations in June. The field feeding team works in extreme heat, preparing meals for nearly 1,000 Soldiers, with no days off and long hours from early morning to late at night. Their efforts not only support the current mission but also prepare them for future conflicts by learning to operate in harsh conditions and ensuring readiness.
